Sk-Ar

Þá verðum við jöfn is an Atmospheric-pop-metal album from Icelandic musician Skúli Arason. Personal philosophy expressed with hushed voices and flavours of Shoegaze, doom, ambient and post rock. Skúli is a member of Icelandic bands Flekar, Elín Helena and Himbrimi. On this album he dives into the darker sides of modern life with soundscapes and expressions of heaviness

Among the dominant sounds here are distorted guitars, drums and synths. Skúli has worked on this album alongside other project for some time and focused the aesthetic in this collection towards the dark and distorted. This is the first in a series of albums which each will contain different but cohesive soundscapes specific to each project.
